Disinfection is one of the cornerstones of drinking water treatment and its regulations.One of the main achievements of the 20th century that guaranteed public health and decreased the occurrence of waterborne diseases.

Water treatment for drinking water requires balancing the requirements of different regulations to assure compliance with the National Primary Standards.Knowing the basics for the different treatments, as for disinfection, is key for delivering safe drinking water to the public.

The training will focus on the basics of disinfection, the applicable regulations and key compliance issues that affects water quality in the distribution system.

The Charles W. Turnbull Regional Library is located at the northern end of the Tutu Park Mall. Public access to the library is though the gated driveway entrance at the northeast corner of the Plaza Extra parking lot.
